Reiss go full throttle with new Mclaren F1 team collection

2024 has already proven to be the year for Fashion and F1 partnerships. We’re only in the second week of February and we have what good arguably be the best F1 Fashion collaboration to date. Reiss has just dropped a huge range of men’s, women’s, unisex and kid’s clothing, which they launched yesterday. The launch event was attended by, of course Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, the event was hosted by F1 presenter, content creator and podcast host, Lissie Mackintosh.

In 2023, the Reiss x McLaren partnership begun. with the UK fashion house creating their team travel kit. Dressing the drivers for their arrival to the paddock, we saw Lando and Oscar both wearing the brand on multiple occassions. Their new collection, was the right move to take their partnership to pole postion and bridge the gap between f1 merch and fashion.

The decision to go all in on a full fashion collection was really a no brainer. If you’re a fan of Formula 1, I am sure you’ve wished that there was better options for "fan wear and merchandise, more than your same team t-shirts and caps. The creatives at Reiss behind this collection have said they were “inspired by the elite performance at the heart of McLaren and by the thrill of Formula 1”. The collection is split up into 3 phases, Dynamic, Hype and Fanwear.

Hype

The “Hype” part of the collection, is where fan wear and street wear, meet. Pops of Papaya and unique twists on the McLaren logo, these pieces can take you from track to street. Shop the HYPE collection here.

Fanwear

This more classic part of the collection is a modernised take on what F1 fans and teams would usually wear. Classic silhouettes with the McLaren logo front and centre. Practical, everyday pieces. Shop the FANWEAR collection here.

Dynamic

Think fan wear meets work. The dynamic collection is an elevated version of classic fan wear. Classy, timeless styles make up key parts of this collection. Shop the DYNAMIC collection here.

I think it is fair to say that Reiss is in Pole Position after this collaboration. Prices ranging from $75 to $2,100 it is a higher priced collection but it does embody the ever growing landscape of F1 and bridges the gap that is fan wear and fashion. I absolutley had to get atleast one item from this! I’m excited for it to arrive, and to see where they take this partnership from here.
